Hello Welcome to My Site
Diabetes Girl here, I'm here to help you with any concerns or questions you have, wether you have a friend just diagnosed with diabetes, or you just want some trivia, this is the site for you, i will post some good questions people have sent in and the answers I gave them, Basically this site is just for the messege system, use the messege sytem to ask your questions. heres an example of what messeges shold look like. I made this messege up, and you dont have to make it exactly like it, but theres some key points, like how the sender didnt write his/her real name, this is for safety only, if u send me a messege with ur real name i will not publish it, dont think ur sending a letter to a adult who doesnt understand you're feelings, im a teenager, In highschool, and have gone through the amany difficulties of having diabetes, including being bullied I cant count how many times i've been told im on drugs, and been made fun of, just because of diabetes, and its still happening to me, and probably most of you, don't forget that I can understand you're problems, i have figured out ways to deal with it, so can you, and I'm here to help, please spend some time writing a few questions, I'm here for you, morning,noon,and night. :) Sincerely- DiabetesGirl
my bff was just diagnosed with diabetes, will she die, what is it?

Its ok to feel sad, but dont wrry, she wont die because of diabetes, she will just have to be careful with what she eats, diabetes is a medical condition where an organ called the pancreas stops creating a hormone called insulin, insulin keeps you're blood sugars normal after eating candy,or anything(vegetables,fruits,starches, etc..diabetic's have to take shots of fake insulin and watch what they eat, hope this helps

my friend has diabetes. will he be ok? and what does the pump do that he carries around? does he have to get shots every day, and how do i ask him about it?
